Ace was still nestled in Rudraksh's arms when his eyes fell on Aarohi. The moment he saw her, he instinctively tried to jump towards her, but Rudraksh held him tightly.

"Bachha, you'll hurt your Maa. Careful, haa?"

"Baby, you'll hurt your mother. Be careful, okay?"

Ace stared at Rudraksh as if he understood his words.

For the first time, Rudraksh was speaking so gently to Ace, and everyone around was taken aback. No one said a word, but their surprise was evident.

He carefully placed Ace beside him. The little pup rested his head on Aarohi's hand, and a single tear slipped down his furry cheek. As if, in that moment, he could feel his mother's pain.

Rudraksh placed his hand over Ace's paw and whispered, "Don't cry... Your mumma will kill me if she sees you like this."

"Don't cry... If your mother sees you like this, she'll have my head."

With that, Rudraksh picked Ace up again and gently handed him over to Aarushi. Then, turning to his family, he said-

"Papa, Aarushi, Tara... aap log jaao. Main yahi rahunga."

"Dad, Aarushi, Tara... you all go home. I'll stay here."

Raghav nodded, understanding the weight of his son's emotions.

"Main rukungi, Bhai," Aarushi protested.

"I'll stay, Brother."

"Main bhi!" Tara added.

"Me too!"

Rudraksh's sharp gaze turned to them, and they fell silent, reluctantly nodding before leaving with Ace.

Rudraksh sat beside Aarohi, his fingers gently enclosing hers. He looked at her face-once so vibrant, now pale and lifeless. His heart clenched painfully in his chest.

"Uth jaayena... Aap apne gunaahgaar ko sazaa bhi toh dena. Aap uthengi nahi toh kaise chalega?"

"Wake up... You still have to punish your culprit. If you don't wake up, how will things move forward?"

He lifted her delicate hand, running his fingers over her cold skin, memorizing every contour.

Time passed, but he didn't move from his place. The night faded into day, yet he remained there, holding her hand, his eyes refusing to close even for a second.

One day passed. No improvement.

Aarav, unable to watch his brother like this, finally spoke-

"Bhai, kuch kha lo. Aap bimaar par jaaoge. Kal se kuch nahi khaya aapne."

"Brother, please eat something. You'll fall sick. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday."

"Haan Bhai," Aarushi pleaded.

"Yes, Brother."

Even Raghav tried to console him. "Beta, hum samajhte hain... par kuch kha lo."

"Son, we understand... but please eat something."

But Rudraksh only shook his head, his voice filled with an aching determination.

"Nahi, Papa. Bohot ziddi hai aapki beti. Jab tak mujhe takleef nahi hogi, uthengi nahi yeh... Aap sab jaaiye. Main Ruhi ke uthne ke baad hi kuch khaunga."

"No, Dad. Your daughter is too stubborn. She won't wake up until I suffer too... You all go. I will eat only when Ruhi wakes up."

With heavy hearts, they left. But not before stopping at the hospital temple, where they folded their hands in silent prayers.

Evening settled in. The air was heavy with the weight of uncertainty. Rudraksh was still sitting beside Aarohi, his fingers entwined with hers, his eyes fixed on her still face.

And then-

A slight movement.

His breath hitched.

He felt it-the tiniest twitch of her fingers beneath his palm.

"Jaana... uth jaayena! Abhi aapne ungli hilaayi... maine mehsoos kiya!"

"My love... wake up! You just moved your finger... I felt it!"

Again, a soft tremor. Then, her eyelashes fluttered.

His heart thundered in his chest as he shot up, shouting-

"Doctor! Doctor!"

A team of doctors rushed in. One of them turned to him.

"Mr. Rajput, please wait outside."

"Main nahi jaaunga!" Rudraksh snapped.

"I'm not leaving!"

"Please, Mr. Rudraksh."

It took multiple requests before he finally relented, stepping outside with reluctance. The moment he did, he found himself surrounded by his family-Aarav, Aarushi, Tara, Dev, Raghav... and Ace, who was anxiously shifting in Shera's arms.

"Beta, kya hua?" Raghav asked urgently.

"Son, what happened?"

Rudraksh, still breathless, finally managed to say-

"She moved her finger."

Gasps filled the air. Aarushi's eyes brimmed with tears as she turned to Aarav, pulling him into a hug. Tara, lost in the moment, hugged Dev-only to realize what she had done and immediately step away.

Minutes later, the doctor emerged.

"Mr. Rajput, your wife is safe. But she needs to remain hospitalized for at least a week."

Relief crashed over Rudraksh like a tidal wave. Without another word, he stepped back inside.

His beautiful wife was awake, her drowsy eyes staring at him with a faint smile. But that smile quickly turned into a frown when she noticed the bandage on his hand.

Rudraksh immediately tried to hide it behind his back.

Aarav smirked. "Biwi ka khaufh!"

"Scared of his wife, huh?"

Dev chuckled. "Chup kar, nahi toh tera khauf nikal dega!"

"Shut up, or he'll scare you instead!"

Their laughter filled the room, but Rudraksh said nothing.

Raghav stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on Aarohi's head. "Kaise ho, beta?"

"How are you, my child?"

"Main theek hoon, Papa."

"I'm fine, Dad."

Tears filled Aarushi's eyes. "Aapne toh humein dara hi diya tha, Bhabhi maa!"

"You really scared us, sister-in-law!"

Aarohi reached out, calling Aarushi, Aarav, and Tara closer. "Kuch nahi hoga mujhe. Tum sab ho na mere saath?"

"Nothing will happen to me. I have all of you with me, don't I?"

They all smiled. "Par hum darr gaye the, Bhabhi maa!"

"But we were really scared, sister-in-law!"

Tara hesitated. "Sorry, sweetheart... woh main-"

"Sorry, sweetheart... I-"

Aarohi held her hand. "Mujhe pata hai. Tu nahi thi, meri Tara kabhi aisa nahi kar sakti."

"I know. It wasn't you. My Tara could never do something like this."

Tara's eyes shimmered with tears as she hugged Aarohi tightly, her voice trembling with emotion.

"I love you, Aaru."

Aarohi smiled, her own eyes glistening. "I love you too."

Just then, Rudraksh, who had been silently watching, murmured under his breath with a hint of jealousy-

"And what about me?"

Aarohi turned to look at him, amused by his childish jealousy, but before she could say anything, her gaze caught on someone unfamiliar.

Her eyes fixed on Dev. She had never met him before, only heard about him from Aarav and Rudraksh.

Understanding her unspoken confusion, Dev smirked. "Oh ho, Bhabhi! Aapne mujhe pehchana nahi?"

"Oh ho, sister-in-law! You didn't recognize me?"

Before Aarohi could respond, Aarav interjected with a teasing grin-

"Kyun? Aap kahin ke President ho kya?"

"Why? Are you some kind of President or what?"

Dev shot him a glare. "Chup kar!"

"Shut up!"

Then, he turned back to Aarohi with a dramatic bow. "Myself Dev! Naam toh suna hi hoga!"

"Myself Dev! You must have heard my name!"

Aarohi finally understood and smiled warmly. "Dev Bhaiya!"

"Dev, brother!"

Dev nodded with a playful smirk and side-hugged her, but before he could get too comfortable, Rudraksh's deep voice warned-

"Aaram se."

"Careful."

Aarohi laughed at Rudraksh's possessiveness, shaking her head.

Just then, the door opened, and Shera entered, carrying Ace in his arms. The little pup wriggled, trying to free himself, eager to reach Aarohi. But Aarohi's attention wasn't on Ace.

She saw it-the unspoken guilt in Shera's eyes.

He wasn't saying anything, but she could feel his pain, the weight he carried in his heart.

Aarohi's voice was gentle, reassuring. "Shera Bhai, aapki koi galti nahi thi."

"Shera Bhai, none of this was your fault."

Shera's eyes welled up with unshed tears.

Aarohi's tone turned firm. "Shera Bhaiya, agar mujhe koi rote hue dikha toh main usse baat nahi karungi."

"Shera Bhaiya, if I see you crying, I won't talk to you."

Immediately, Shera wiped his tears, forcing a small smile. Carefully, he placed Ace beside her.

The moment he was free, Ace pounced on Aarohi, licking her face all over, his tiny body trembling with happiness. Aarohi giggled, hugging him tightly, kissing his soft fur.

Rudraksh crossed his arms, pouting. "Lo shuru ho gaya maa-bete ka pyaar. Bas, baap ko bhool jaate hain dono."

"There they go again-the mother-son love story. They always forget the father."

Everyone laughed at Rudraksh's sulking expression.

Finally, Aarohi turned to Rudraksh, her brows furrowing slightly. She had noticed that he hadn't spoken much to her since she woke up.

Her voice softened. "Rudra... humein ghar jaana hai."

"Rudra... I want to go home."

Before Rudraksh could say anything, Raghav spoke.

"But beta, doctor ne bola hai ki aapko ek hafta hospitalized rakhna padega."

"But dear, the doctor said you need to be hospitalized for a week."

Rudraksh, however, remained silent for a moment before his jaw tightened in resolve. "Koi baat nahi, Papa. Ruhi yahan nahi rehna chahti, toh koi nahi rahega."

"No problem, Dad. If Ruhi doesn't want to stay here, she won't."

Without waiting for a response, he strode out of the room, his mind set on one thing-getting her home.

He found the doctor and asked, "Can I shift my wife home?"

The doctor hesitated. "But Mr. Rajput, it's necessary for her to stay under medical observation."

Rudraksh's tone was unwavering. "Don't worry, Doctor. I will turn my home into a hospital."

He pulled out his phone, dialing his men. His voice was sharp, commanding.

"I need my room converted into a hospital setup in thirty minutes. Understand? Do it. Otherwise, you know the consequences."

He cut the call before anyone could argue.

Outside, Raghav was also making arrangements. "I want the best doctor at Rajput Mansion in thirty minutes for my daughter. Understood?"

"Yes, sir."

Inside the hospital room, Aarohi and Rudraksh were finally alone.

Rudraksh slowly walked toward her, his movements careful, as if afraid she would disappear. He sat beside her, his intense gaze never leaving her face.

Aarohi frowned, looking at his pale features.

"Kya, Rudra? Hum thik hain ab. Aur aap humse baat kyun nahi kar rahe? Nazar hai kya?"

"What, Rudra? I'm fine now. Why aren't you talking to me? Are you upset?"

She crossed her arms, her lips curving into a pout.

"Aap kyun naraz hain? Naraz toh humein hona chahiye! Aapne apne haathon mein yeh kya laga rakha hai? Jaao, hum baat nahi karenge!"

"Why are you upset? If anyone should be angry, it's me! Look at your hands-what have you done to yourself? Go away! I won't talk to you!"

Rudraksh sighed, cupping her delicate face in his hands as if she were made of glass. His voice was hoarse with emotion.

"I love you."

He kissed the back of her palm, pressing his lips there as if sealing a promise.

Aarohi, still pretending to be upset, turned her face away. "Hume baat nahi karni."

"I don't want to talk."

Rudraksh smirked. "Toh should I try something else?"

"So... should I try something else?"

Before she could react, he leaned in and kissed her cheek. Aarohi stiffened but didn't move.

His lips trailed down to her jawline, his breath warm against her skin. "Acha lagta hai jab meri patni mujhse rooth jaati hai."

"I like it when my wife sulks like this."

Then, his lips found her neck, pressing a soft, lingering kiss there.

Aarohi's breath hitched, her skin burning under his touch. Her fingers curled into his shirt, her voice coming out in a whisper.

"Okay... hum baat kar rahe hain aapse..."

"Okay... I'm talking to you now..."

Rudraksh pulled back slightly, his gaze locking onto hers. His dark eyes held an emotion so raw, so deep, that it made her chest tighten.

"Aapko pata hai... jaan nikal di thi aapne meri."

"Do you know... you almost took my life with you?"

His voice cracked slightly, and Aarohi saw the moisture in his eyes.

Aarohi's words shattered something inside Rudraksh.

"Rudra... mujhe laga tha main mar jaungi, par mujhe sirf ek baar aapko dekhna tha..."

"Rudra... I thought I would die... but the only thing I regretted was not seeing you one last time..."

A sharp breath left his lips, his entire body going rigid. His jaw clenched, his hands fisting at his sides. His mind screamed at him-how could she say something like that? How could she even think of leaving him?

A deep, uncontrollable rage surged through him, mixed with something even more dangerous-fear.

And then-he lost control.

In one swift motion, he grabbed her face, his fingers trembling as they cupped her cheeks, tilting her head up toward him. His eyes burned into hers-wild, desperate, filled with unspoken emotions.

And before she could say another word, his lips crashed onto hers.

It wasn't a soft, hesitant kiss. No-this was hunger, possession, punishment. He kissed her fiercely, as if pouring every ounce of his anguish into the touch. His lips moved urgently, claiming, demanding, needing.

Aarohi gasped against his mouth, her hands flying up to grip his shirt, but he didn't stop. He tilted her head further, deepening the kiss, his tongue sweeping inside, tasting, devouring, making her breathless.

His grip on her tightened as if he was afraid she would disappear if he let go. His other hand slid down to her waist, pulling her impossibly close until there was no space left between them. He kissed her harder, bruising, desperate-punishing her for scaring him, for making him feel the kind of fear he had never known.

Aarohi whimpered against his lips, the heat of his body overwhelming her senses. Her pulse raced, her mind spiraling as she felt his raw, unfiltered emotions crashing into her.

Rudraksh wasn't just kissing her.

He was claiming her.

He was reminding her.

That she was his. That she belonged here, with him, breathing, alive, safe.

When he finally pulled back, both of them were gasping for breath. Their foreheads touched, his warm breath fanning over her lips. Aarohi's eyes were wide, dazed, her lips swollen and trembling.

Rudraksh's hand cupped her jaw, his thumb brushing over her lower lip as his voice came out rough, broken, possessive.

"Dare you say those words again..."

His gaze was dark, intense, filled with something dangerously deep. Aarohi's heart pounded as she stared into his stormy eyes.

She swallowed hard, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry..."

His grip on her face tightened. "Never again, Aarohi. Samjhi tum? Tum mujhe kabhi chhod ke nahi jaaogi."

"Never again, Aarohi. Do you understand? You will never leave me."

She nodded, her voice shaking. "Kabhi nahi..."

"Never..."

His lips hovered over hers again, softer this time, and when he kissed her again, it was slow, deep, an

d filled with everything he couldn't say in words.
